Frequency Electronics Inc. is a DoD subcontractor specializing in the development of precision timing equipment, supporting critical defense and aerospace projects since 1961. As a Network Support Specialist, I administered and optimized Palo Alto firewalls, creating security policies, managing VPNs (site-to-site and remote access), and implementing threat prevention measures. Monitored and analyzed Palo Alto firewall logs, adjusting security policies to maintain secure and efficient network traffic flow while mitigating potential threats. Developed and enforced firewall security policies, conducting regular audits and fine-tuning access control rules to minimize risk exposure. Implemented secure network architectures, including Zero Trust, VLAN segmentation, and Network Access Control (NAC) to enhance overall security posture.
